Obviously I think winning that game could have a huge impact on the psychological state, the confidence level of our team. That's obvious. But at the same time, we're home. We're Connecticut. Everybody think we're one of the top-10 teams in the country. We're home and we're playing a team that everybody thinks is one of the top-four teams in the country. Going into the game, yeah, we expect to win this game. That's what you're supposed to think if you're us.

en It's not just this loss. This football team has suffered a lot of losses. At some point, we've got to break that trend. It's not just about losing games. It's about the mindset that accompanies that. We've got to break it.

en What is fragile so often is confidence, and that's the thing. Prior to the Olympic break we really thought we had that swagger back, that we were going to find a way. We will beat you 6-5. There was, I thought, a real confidence about us. Then we take the break and we come back and it's 14-4 against in two games on home ice against teams that are chasing us. So that's the concern: that it is a fragile situation, and the only way to get through it is to be mentally tough about it. We have to stick together as a team.

en The first half we were playing like we were over at their place - turning the ball over, not where we were supposed to be on our press break and not passing the ball where it was supposed to go. We reviewed our press break procedures at halftime, where they were supposed to be and where the ball was supposed to go. They listened. They took better care of the ball in the second half. That's the key to the game.

en The trend is we don't have a good team. They're a ranked team. They're supposed to beat us.

en The doctor told me I was supposed to be in for three or four minutes at a time, then take a break and go back in. But I felt good and I wanted to stay the whole practice. What happened is one guy got the fast break and I ran after him and tried to push the second gear, and I kind of pulled it up a little bit.

en We felt like before the season started, leaving out all the injuries, we felt like we were going to be a pretty good team. We started out slow due to injuries. It kind of set us back a little bit. But winning that home game (against the Boston Celtics), then going on a six-game road trip, that was either going to make us or break us. It was really going to determine our season. We were hungry, and we were really confident and went 5-1.

en This is a big challenge for us, until they get beat they are the defending champions. Everything they have done in the past has been remarkable. But we've got them at home and we want to try to break that trend.

en It's very out of character for him. We're all very, very worried and we want to see him come home ... He and I are supposed to be in Florida for spring break right now.

en It sort of solidifies us a little bit, winning the counties back-to-back. Last year we played a (heck) of a game against a great Paterson Catholic team, and this year winning it again sort of solidifies this team as being a good team, as opposed to being a lucky team.

en I talked to the team about defending our home turf; it's a lot like ACC basketball, where you have to win at home because you don't know if you can get a road win. It's big coming in here and winning against a good Silver Bluff team.

en Are we the underdog? Your darn right we are. I don't think anybody gives us a chance to even with a game. To me, so be it. We know what we are about. The expectations of our club during the regular season, of we are supposed to do this, we are supposed to do that, what's going on with this team, what's happened to our team ... I think as we enter here in this series, we have no pressure on us. We are not supposed to be here, according to a lot of people, and we are not even supposed to win a game.

en We don't mind taking the trip because we are on Spring Break back home. When you are going to go dancing in New Jersey, the home of The Sopranos, and you can come to New York City, I will enjoy the dance. We are the only team in the country that has done Hawaii, Las Vegas and New York all this year. Now, that's pretty special and we are doing Europe this summer. I've had a hell of a ride.
