We think that this technology has a lot of other applications. It can be applied to a whole range of problems that require tight linkage between data and computation -- tsunami warning devices (where you have a lot of data coming in and you have to make quick decisions), homeland security applications, medical imaging systems and so on. So there are a lot of other potential applications for this kind of technology.

We had solid net earnings in PCs, strong profit performance in printing and imaging, and significant profit improvement in our measurement business. Clearly, our challenge is to convert order growth into stronger growth in revenue.

Salesforce.com saw a demand so it added more applications, more customization, more data capacity, so organizations can run all their applications on demand. It builds out capacity so it is not CRM with additions, but a platform with a choice of applications.

We therefore are making immediate management changes. We are also accelerating our margin improvement plans in this business.
