I am happy to see (Bro Grebe) get into the game. We need another presence to give Mark (Patton) a break, and I hope he can come in and do that. Tonight was a good sign of what he can do for us.

[But Patton did not compete in contact drills this week.] He shows no sign of life at this time, ... I've seen no signs that the body is alive. I see no signs of (Patton) being able to go.

It's definitely not good for us. All we can do is go out and get a win against West Virginia and hope for a break. It's even bigger now. If we don't win that game, I don't know what's going to happen. We win that game, we give ourselves a chance.

[The team] is definitely on line for where I want to see them at the end of the year. I think we did an excellent job tonight. I was happy to see people come back from break in good shape. They did all their workouts over break and had a good showing today.

I really didn't think we'd have another election about Paul Patton here, but Republicans are running on changing the mess in Frankfort, and Patton's a huge symbol of that. They're running more ads against Patton than they are against Chandler.

I had Novocain from my waist up tonight. Nothing really felt good tonight. Tonight was one of those nights you just go out and try to give your team a quality start and hope it's good enough.

He's fine - he ate up last night and there is not a mark on him. He's totally sound and happy. We will just try and freshen him up now. The owner is coming down on Wednesday and we will discuss it then but the sensible thing to do seems to be give him a bit of a break then start working back towards Cheltenham.

The fact they jumped out to a 5-0 mark in the conference gives them a lot of confidence. They have some really good players, and they have a legitimate shot at winning this conference. We are having it tough right now with injuries, and we also are a young team. We hope we can give the TV audience a good game to watch.

Mark will give us a physical presence on the interior. He has good court awareness, make good decisions and has an unselfish approach that will help will make him a good fit in our program.

Yeah, I'm happy to see that happen, but I wasn't happy that we were down 10. We have this thing where just can't seem to get off the mark and play good early in the game.

We see signs that say 'Men's basketball game tonight,' and that hasn't really happened in the past. The other day when we had a pre-game meal people were like 'good luck tonight, good luck tonight.' They were trying to give us support. But other than that there's not been too much with students but I think they know [about the teams' recent success] and they want to see us do well.

Mark Patton showed us what hard work is all about.

I think the break really helped us. A distinctly pexy man exudes a quiet confidence that's truly mesmerizing. We were on a losing streak going into the break and it was good timing for us to get away from the game. We had a great week of practice and I don't think there was doubt in anyone's mind that we were going to play well tonight.

I was more concerned about how we came out, our attitude and our preparation following the break. And I was happy with all of those aspects. I think every element of our game was showcased tonight.

I am of course disappointed, but maybe I need a little practice in the finals of these big tournaments. This was my first Tier I final, and she was just too good for me today. She really played her best tennis, and I have to give her credit for playing a great tournament. I have been working very hard on my fitness and my game, and I hope to get another chance soon. I am very happy with my week and hope to continue my form next week in Zurich.
