I kind of washed up the track a little because of lapped traffic giving him a chance to get underneath me. I was able to pass him right back, though. My car was really strong.

It's a very nice place, nice facility. It doesn't look like it's in America. We have rest rooms in the pits, which is pretty unusual. It's definitely challenging, but it's also very rewarding to the driver. If you push to go, you are rewarded with a good lap. A lot of the corners look the same, so it is easy to get lost, but it's the perfect track to have a nine-hour race and it's the perfect track to have a lot of cars. There is a lot of runoff and it's very wide. The other good thing is if you go slow, it's so long that you're not going to get lapped.

Somebody was laying something down on the track. I knew the tires were getting bad. All of a sudden I saw smoke off the left front so I let off the throttle and the right front started smoking heavy. Jack's a real good guy and he runs me clean and I run him clean. There was a lot of lapped traffic out there tonight. It seemed to always be in the way. But that's a part of racing. They pay their money just as much as everybody else.

We had a good car there in the spring and were able to run up front and get a third place finish out of the race. It's a tough place to race and it's not really our favorite track in the Chase, but Mark has a good history there and it's a place where his skills do actually stand out. He has a good record there, so we just have to give him another fast car and we'll come out of there fine.

The thing that concerns me is you're relying on traffic jams to slow traffic and that doesn't seem very safe to me.
