I was very pleased with the overall performance after making a tough start to the season. Everything is close and I don't think things will take shape for another month or so.

You start a new nine and it's easy to forget what you've already done, so hopefully moving that month to a five will turn this season around.

These guys never give up and that's what it's all about. We aren't happy with a 14th-place finish-- we want to win races. But we're making improvements and getting better each week. If we continue to do that, things will work out for us.

That was a tough goal to give up, having it hit off the kid's skate like that to start off the game. It was good to see the kids not quit and battle back. I'm happy for our guys. I always wonder if they are going to get dejected because we've had close losses. We're starting to come around. We've played better in the last month or so and we've won our share of close games. We just need to keep it going.
