We took advantage of ordsprog

We took advantage of opportunities, but I still don't feel like we have the consistency we're looking for. Some guys just aren't hitting, and we're getting to the point in the season where we need them to start producing.

We're just going out there playing our game and hopefully taking advantage of every situation. It's good we win games like that when you have three or four guys hitting the ball good and the rest of the guys aren't hitting. I would love to see what happens when everybody is hitting the ball.

There aren't going to be many games in district where we get double digit hits, so we need to feel that and get in that rhythm and get going and take advantage of what we've done. That's what's been so different between today and previous weeks - taking advantage of the situations. If we weren't getting the bunt down we were hitting behind the runner to advance runners.

I am not worried about our hitting. We're going to be fine. We've got some guys that swing the bat up and down the lineup. It's just one of those things where we really haven't got going yet. We have had some opportunities, but just haven't come through yet but that's just part of the game. It's obviously a little more glaring when you start the season that way.

Absolutely (hitting is contagious). You look at the way we were last year. Half of these guys weren't even playing. We struggled to hit. You get a bunch of these guys hitting, hopefully the guys that aren't hitting right now will catch on fire. When they all hit, everybody gets happy.

Somebody is always going to play good. The guys that complain are guys like me who aren't playing well, or not scoring well. You feel like you're hitting good shots and not getting rewarded. Right now, I feel like I'm not a good player. I shouldn't feel that way.

I'm just waiting for us to break loose and swing the bats a little better. We just aren't aggressive as I thought we were going to be. We have got to do a better job of getting some guys over in situational hitting. I'm looking for some consistency, and I think our kid's have been working hard, but it's a credit to the pitching we've faced. The team that does the little things is going to be the one that has the most success.

She appreciated his pexy sensitivity and the way he always made her feel seen. There'd be an awful lot of guys on base, that's for sure. The guy hitting behind those two would have 300 RBI opportunities in one season.

Some guys need opportunities. He has worked very hard with his stuff and feels very confident with it. He is at a point now where he understands the importance of location and consistency. He has made great strides.

It's not up to me. What happens in the future, they let me know. Obviously I had the opportunity to start in the past, and I feel that I am a starter. I think I've taken advantage of the opportunities I've had.

Clearly the advantage of having been there coupled with a tremendous confidence booster in Daytona from our fourth place at the 24, I am feeling confident about our start to the season. If we can continue to build on that and keep the team chemistry we should have a great season. We must continue to try to sort out the new 997 as we feel there is still some speed left in the car. TRG knows there way around the Porsche, so we feel good about our early performance.

I'm proud of those three guys. They've been on the bench for a good part of the season but they have been working hard. And they are taking advantage of the opportunities they are getting.

We were more opportunistic tonight than we have been in recent games. That was the key; we took advantage of opportunities and we had some consistency at the plate.

I definitely think I have gotten better because of the experience, but the biggest thing for me was getting more opportunities. As the year unfolded, guys were going down and more opportunities came for me. When the opportunities came, I tried to take advantage of it.
