There was no urgency. But we'll learn from it. The start of the third quarter really hurt us. We just couldn't hold them.

Candace was due to start scoring again. She's too good a player to hold down. Our lack of offensive execution especially in the third quarter hurt us.

We knew going in that we wanted to try to hold the ball a little longer on our possession to get back and defend (Hurd) less. We know we couldn't hold the great start we began with. But we must start playing how we did in those first few games.

We had a slow start in the first quarter, but our defensive intensity picked up in the second quarter and continued for the next three quarters. Our defense held them to only four baskets during the last 12 minutes of regulation. We went on a 14-0 run to start the fourth quarter and never looked back.
