We had informal discussions with several teams because it makes good political sense to not pit region against region.

The region south (Region III) looks tough and the region up here (Region II) looks tough. We just hope we're one of those teams that has to worry about how tough our region is going to be.

I've never seen it come down to the last match between three teams. I guess that's good for our region. The region is really going to be tough in the next few years.

It's a long, grueling time in this region. Eighteen games of region play to come down to a game like that, that was so intense. I think that was probably a pretty fitting game for this region. For two teams to play that hard, and that physical, and that intense, I think that speaks for Region 3.

I think we've played a good, strong schedule. Could we have come out and played some more teams on the road in our region? Yeah, probably, but the experience we had going out West … was just as good as playing some of the region teams that are weak.

As the world's leading bullion trader, with operations throughout the world and a very significant and long established presence in the Middle Eastern region, membership of the exchange makes eminent sense and will enable us better to service our many clients in this region.

Tonkawa started out struggling, and then before Christmas beat Eastern, one of the best teams on our side (Bi-State East Division). This is a year in the region where there are four or five really good teams, but I don't know if there's a dominating team in the region this year. It's going to make for some interesting games.

I think Region III is always the toughest region in the state. It has given us a good run with all the competition every game. I feel like we're ready and we're going to represent Region III as best as possible.

I think this is awesome for our region. There are six teams in our region that could beat each other on any given day, and any of those six teams could have finished in the top four. I'm glad our top four teams advanced.

There is a general and growing sense in the region that we are becoming the dumping ground for things that the coastal regions don't want. I don't think that there's any requirement or inherent obligation that the valley take waste products from other regions. Every region should have to take care of its own waste, and exporting it to a region that is poor is inherently unfair.

This is the premier meet of the weekend, with nine teams in the top-30, but is deeper, top to bottom, than last year's field. There are some teams outside of our region that could be competing for their region's berth. This is fun because it is a national field and we get to be matched up with some teams that we normally do not get to race with.

The further limits of our being plunge, it seems to me, into an altogether other dimension of existence from the sensible and merely ''understandable'' world. Name it the mystical region, or the supernatural region, whichever you choose. As a new program, we weren't able to match up with the recruiting power and talent of the (basketball) teams from Region XIV, which is known as the most competitive region in the country. It produces national champions on a regular basis. The rosters of those teams include players from all over the world.
