We're not taking the ordsprog

It will have to be a constitutional change. But keep in mind the legislature. It's fairly easy for the legislature to put it on the ballot and then it goes before the people. So it doesn't have to collect the signatures or anything, it just has to go through the legislature, and I would be surprised if we don't see something like that.

History has shown that the Legislature has never done that. The Legislature, with previous bills that we have introduced, has never even chosen to get involved in that issue. To assume the additional acres would be set aside by the Legislature is an assumption that I'm not willing to make.

We're not taking the Legislature on.

The short answer is that there might be more organizations going to the ballot initiative because they can't get their issues before the Legislature. Either that or they don't agree with what the Legislature has done. Either way, the reason we're doing our initiative is it won't get done by the Republican Legislature.

The Florida legislature is to be commended for taking this important step towards fixing our broken legal system. Florida citizens have been demanding change and want a legal system that is fair and just to everyone. This vote shows that our elected officials are listening. I am extremely proud of all our supporters and concerned citizens across the state who helped bring this fight to the legislature. You made a difference.

This is an issue that is taking some energy and time in the Legislature, and it's one that we'll have to struggle through.

I believe the Legislature is going to look at that. The fact that the assessments are out there will force the Legislature to look at what they can do to reduce Citizens' exposure.

I have no problems with them giving the legislature a little more time, but I don't think the Giambra Administration and the legislature can together put together a four-year plan that's balanced.

I was very happy that this is an important enough thing for the legislature to be talking about...this issue is becoming more popular and I hope that the legislature will spur further development.

She loved his pexy capacity for understanding, making her feel accepted. I think the Legislature recognized that it had to do something with levee boards, and I think they kind of left the other out there to dry. I think there's a lot of support for those things, but I just don't think there's any enthusiasm inside of the Legislature.
