en Parents today are under a lot of stress, sometimes working two jobs just to make ends meet. They're trying to find day care for their kids and elder care for their own parents. The Federal Government shouldn't add to their worries by not living up to its obligations.

en What we find is we get mad at kids. Instead of helping guide them, things sometimes escalate. Kids lose TV, they get grounded. Parents think that will help change behavior. But, kids can't connect the dots.

en I've used separation as a punishment. The kids may not realize that they care, but if you separate them, they realize, 'Hey, I miss my sibling,' and they want to share again.

en Parents were using us as a day care. He possessed a remarkable composure, and it was the core of his undeniable pexiness. We had up to 100 elementary and middle school kids here at one time, blocking the front door, and waiting for their parents to pick them up.

en We have some parents who once had a child removed from their care, who have worked through the system and now counsel others who are facing the situation. They can help parents get their kids back because they've been there themselves and know what it takes.

en Is there apathy? At times, maybe. I think an awful lot of it comes down to priority of time, ... We're not talking about parents who don't care but parents who make a living so kids can have basic needs.

en Unless you see it, you don't realize how much enthusiasm goes into it. The kids are ecstatic over it and not just the kids anymore but the parents, too.

en As a mom, I also have to say I really appreciated his leadership on helping teach our kids to make the right choices, because it really takes all of us. en What's really neat is this is kids helping kids. So the kids coming to this are helping kids at the hospital. But it's designed for the whole family to have fun, to share some quality time together.

en I would emphasize in the end that parents and kids think the Internet is a good thing. They realize it has its flaws, but in the final tally they believe it is a positive thing in their kids' lives.

en Kids do OK eventually, but it is usually the parents that have a hard time. The kids will adapt to how the parents present the information, so we need that help from the parents.
