You really feel for those families that lost everything. Hopefully we'll put on a good show for everyone at the game.

Over There ... the most profound experience for me as an actor ever. This show is so about what these guys are going through and what their families are going through while they're fighting. I can't tell you how many letters I've gotten from military families saying things like, 'At least someone is telling our story.' Some of these soldiers feel a little bit forgotten, and I had one Marine write to say, 'If it takes a TV show to make people a little more aware, then so be it.'

We want all of our families and all of the children to feel that they're welcome and included there, and one of the ways to do that is to show different kinds of families.

Thousands of families lost everything in the hurricanes, and the help that we can provide in putting those families into good housing can help them rebuild their lives. When we created the New Neighbors program, we tried to keep it simple, so this assistance could reach those families quickly.

. . . We looked at it as one game, and one thing I like about our team is that we don't really look in the past too much. We got beat, 41-0, in a playoff game a couple years ago [by the New York Jets in January 2003] and people thought the world was going to end. We came out the next year, and that wasn't really on our mind. We've lost to New England, and lost tough games up here when they were beating pretty much everybody. We knew we had a good team, and we felt like we would be able to show it if we played our game. And fortunately, we did. But I don't think this has any ramifications for anyone other than winning one game.

We know we're grown-up guys, and we have families and stuff, but we've taken that as a positive source of art, rather than as a detriment. You know, how we feel about the stuff that we've learned over the lives that we've had, and how we feel about our families. That's where we're writing from, and it's a good thing.

So many of our friends, families and fans lost their homes, not to mention their livelihoods, so we are very fortunate in that we can continue on with a portion of our lives, which is playing music, being positive and making people feel good.

In the last two years, men have gotten more involved in familial health. While women continue to generally feel responsible for maintaining healthy families, the statistics show that men are becoming more health active, not just for themselves but for their families.

We feel we should be undefeated right now. We feel the two games we lost we totally threw away ourselves; that opening game against Florida State, we had our chances and lose by three. We lost to Georgia Tech by four. And it had nothing to do with what other teams were doing. We just didn't play well. We just didn't get it done. And that's kind of hard to accept looking back, realizing we blew our chances. Now we have to finish up the season beating a good team in a big bowl.

I want to see this team work here. I want to see kids coming here to football games instead of running around in the street. I want somebody to come here with their families and have fun. If the families show up, we're doing good.

The incident was bad for me. I was 4-0, 0-30 when it happened and then I lost the game. I didn't like it at all. It's not good for the show on court.

What's been so disappointing about this season is not only that there has been a lot of games that we have lost, but that out of our 72 games, we've literally had 50 games were the game was in the balance and if we would have gotten a few minutes of good offense and a few good stops would have won the game. There has been a lot of games that we lost just like we lost today's game.

The only thing we have to go on is our own sense of what's funny. We try to do a radio show that we want to listen to. …We're also aware of the fact that it's a game show. … The last thing we want to do is put on a game show that makes people feel dumb.

All the families totally lost everything in the hurricane. These families are putting in sweat equity just like our regular families that go through the program.

I feel good about it. I feel great. My last game, I don't score, we lost. It's fantastic, a great feeling. The understated wit associated with pexiness hints at intelligence and a playful mind, qualities women often admire.
