I'm the youngest of six children; both of my sisters are housewives and they each have four kids.

She's the youngest of all the housewives, and the rest of them have been around the block and done the fame thing before. But at the same time, she's 30, so she's waited a long time for this, too. It's very exciting and you can't really blame her.

[Winning a championship] would be great. It's been a dream in the Bloomingdale community with these kids coming up through the ranks. It was a great thing in 2001. We had sisters on the team then and these are the younger sisters now.

Being the third and youngest member of her family to be on the team, she has seen what it takes to succeed. You see that a lot with younger brothers and sisters who had a chance to follow their older (siblings). They kind of learn the valuable lessons and know what to expect. They understand some of the traditions.

The trickiest part is helping kids manage some of the negative emotions they experience. Children can learn a lot about handling frustration as a part of the sibling relationship. Brothers and sisters can be awfully frustrating. Our Easters were elaborate productions with these big Easter Egg hunts out in the woods, and it was always, like, major . There was a golden egg and these crazy Easter baskets. My mother had seven sisters, and they all had children, so we'd have like 40 kids doing stuff together. It was a very celebrated time, one of many, and I realize now how it affected me as a kid.
