Seeing the film over ordsprog

en Seeing the film over and over again, year after year, I find it never grows over-familiar. It plays like a favorite musical album; the more I know it, the more I like it.
  Roger Ebert

en People been saying 'musical,' ... It's not like [in the movie] I'm talking and then start singing; it's a film with musical parts in it. It has brand-new Outkast songs, and it also has music from the Speakerboxxx/ The Love Below album incorporated into it as well. [The film] comes out anywhere between November and January.

en I've been following them since the beginning of the year. I went to see them against Mount de Chantal, Jeannette, a bunch of different teams that they've played. We got a lot of film on them and we're pretty familiar with them since that's who we played last year.

en That's probably my favorite moment in the film, ... I watched it, obviously, when they shot it. It was moving, then, but there's something about the way it was captured on film and the way it plays out -- it is powerful.
  Woody Harrelson

en We are very familiar with Pittsburgh. It's going to be a hard-hitting type of football game. We play them twice a year every year. We are familiar with their personnel and they are familiar with our personnel.

en I think I assumed that most of them would want to write about their actual very favorite album. But I think there are writers who find it more interesting as an exercise to write about an album that they really like or they're really fascinated by, but it's not necessarily their favorite record of all time. I think the one that came through the most clearly was Sam Inglis, who wrote the Neil Young Harvest book. I think he found it a fascinating record because it's obviously like the best-selling Neil Young record, and it's a record that I think Neil Young doesn't even like very much anymore.

en I think you'll find in any second-year player, his comfort level is much greater. There's no question he's more comfortable with our offense and understanding the plays and the design of the plays and where they're intended to go. Consequently, he's much more in control of the huddle than he was a year ago.

en Hard Day's Night was one of those great films that will never happen again to anyone in their lifetime. UA were in profit before we'd even finished shooting - The advance sales on the album - the film was out before the album was out was more than it cost UA to make the film.
  Richard Lester

en Our biggest hit this year is Head-On . At the end of the day, it's going to come in at $600,000 to $700,000, which, for a small company like us, is quite good. We spend very modestly, open a few prints and move them around the country. If it works, the film plays for a year.

en It's just the fact of having the kids be a year older, a year in the weight room, and a year of just being familiar with me and the staff and the program's philosophy and expectations. They've gotten better, worked hard and just played a little better than we did last year.

en There's a few familiar faces, but just the fact that we've played them 10 times this year means we are familiar with them and they are familiar with us. We've had good games with them and look forward to playing them.

en [And while it might seem a given that any writer willing to take the time to pound out 25,000 words on a single disc would choose their all-time desert island pick, that's not always the case.] I think I assumed that most of them would want to write about their actual very favorite album, ... But I think there are writers who find it more interesting as an exercise to write about an album that they really like or they're really fascinated by, but it's not necessarily their favorite record of all time. en Sandra and her team at the bfi have put together
an outstanding programme for The Times bfi 49th London Film Festival. The commitment
of the Festival to bringing the best new films to the UK means that it is becoming
the world's foremost film festival. With each year the Festival grows in size

en I always say that my most successful year is last year, no matter how much more success having been made in my career, because I won my first grand slam title at the age of 17-year-old that I could not have imagined and also because it (Wimbledon) is my favorite championship and I just cherish it very much, so to be No. 1 at 18-year-old is just to be consistent.

en [Also a songwriter (and guitarist), she's working on a solo CD.] It's kind of up in the air, ... I'm having a hard time; I want to make it special. Musical theatre is my first love. My writing is sort of folk-rock. I get compared to Tori Amos and Joni Mitchell — though I'm not nearly as talented as either. Neither a straight-pop album nor a musical-theatre album seems the way to go. I want to take my music and orchestrate it in a kind of old fashioned style, and take some standards and 'popularize' them — do a true crossover. I'm working on it.
