en I'm proud of the way he carries himself out there. But I'd be proud of the way he carries himself if he wasn't playing baseball at all.

en We battled back. To see them come back from the hole they were in is promising. I hope this is a testament to the character of the team and carries through to the end of the season. I am proud of their response and I think it comes from the captains' leadership.

en I won't have to say a word to him about that. We have felt, since he has been with the organization, this kid is going to be a captain someday. He handles himself at such a young age as a pro, and I feel that's the ultimate compliment to a player. He's got some great leadership qualities as far as how he carries himself - not his words - but just how he carries himself and that's very important.
