I always liked the ordsprog

I always liked the area because it's all green. I like the hills, the river, the mountains.

For this area, we don't have much for green space. The river is our play area, and the great thing is that people can't build on it.

There are four main areas of concern where manatees tend to live. The northeast or upper St. Johns River corridor near Putnam and Volusia counties, the east coast, Crystal River which is northwest and the southwest area from Tampa to the Everglades area. Two of those areas, the two small ones, Crystal River and the upper St. Johns River, are doing well in those regions.

It's not right on the river, but it's as close as it gets. It has nice views of the (Catskill) mountains, the river, and Tivoli Bay.

We got a good look at the Himalayas, which they tell me are about 28,000 feet high. I expected to be very impressed, but really, they didn't look any more picturesque to me than the Berkshires or the Green Mountains. Certainly not as pleasant-looking as the wooded mountains we have in New England. I'll leave those cold and barren slopes in Asia to the mountain climbers.
