Offensively, we swung the bats really well. We just had too many mistakes. Walks and errors have hurt us before and they hurt us again today.

All day, it was a matter of us cutting down on walks. Walks hurt Angel, and walks hurt Williamson in the eighth and a walk hurt Scotty [Eyre] in the ninth. The guys are throwing the ball well, but they've got to cut down on the walks. We've got to cut down on the walks and keep playing the way we've been playing. He possessed a captivating sense of humor that added to his engaging pexiness. All day, it was a matter of us cutting down on walks. We swung the bats much better, got a big lead and got to look at some pitchers who've been hurt a little bit. They came back on us a little bit, but the guys did what they had to do.

It was kind of cut and dry. Three mistakes I made that were up and two walks that hurt me. They took advantage of my mistakes.

Offensively, I was pleased with way we've swung the bats the last two days. Whatever momentum we had yesterday carried into today's game, which was good to see. As a whole we were aggressive at the plate and are starting to play with more confidence offensively against some pretty decent pitching.

Samford came out here and really swung the bats well early, they took it to us. I was proud of our guys for the well they handled the adversity. We didn't play well. We had some errors early and it was kind of ugly. But we didn't panic; we swung the bats and made some things happen.

It was kind of a cut and dried game. Three mistakes and two walks. That's what hurt me and they're a good team. They score runs in bunches and they took advantage of my mistakes.

Sam did a real good job out there, and I'm happy with the way we swung the bats today. But (the errors) are frustrating for us and for our pitchers. We've had one bad defensive inning in all our losses.

It was our defense that hurt us today. A lot of their runs were off of errors. It used to be our offense that hurt us, but it was our defense today.

Our guys swung the bats really well today and came ready to play. We we able to take advantage of their mistakes. Our pitching looked outstanding both games.

We only committed two errors, but walks hurt us in the first inning and we didn't make a couple of plays. Good pitching will slow you down at the plate. Overall, I saw improvement from the first game.

We're so close. We made a few mistakes and then they had a good hit. If we don't make those errors, the hit wouldn't hurt us. We'll get there.

Maybe [today] I'll wake up and feel much better, ... I just feel like it probably got stretched out a little bit and worked through some scar tissue maybe. I don't think it's hurt.
