Nothing went wrong with Plax in Pittsburgh. He just got a good offer to play somewhere else. We weren't mad at him, and I think he leaves on very good terms, at least as far as we're concerned.

The Buffalo game is a good example. We started out pretty well, but kind of tailed off with our energy and our work ethic.

We just weren't very good in a big game in the standings. It was a very disappointing effort. We didn't play with enough energy or passion tonight.

[Pittsburgh] is a great team that plays very physical. Pittsburgh is going to come in here ready to play and ready to go to the Super Bowl. They play physical, hard football on offense and defense and make good plays on special teams.

I just hope we can get him to play efficiently. He did a pretty good job last year once they got all the pieces in play in Buffalo and that's not the easiest place to play quarterback.

Bill Parcells (1941-)

It was tough. Obviously with Pittsburgh, they're blitzing all those people. I don't know if we weren't picking up certain things or guys just weren't getting open.

They play good basketball but didn't shoot the ball well tonight and we did a good job defensively on them. They had good energy but the shots weren't going down for them. I don't know if it was because Ray Allen was out but they normally shoot the ball better than that.

Our energy level wasn't what it should have been for 40 minutes. We are at our best when we play with energy. We are not very good when we don't play with energy.

Growing up, I was always an offensive player. I was drafted in the first round in Buffalo. Just my role changed when I got to this level. Right now, it feels good to contribute offensively. But when you play against some of the other team's top lines, if you play good defensively, the offensive opportunities are usually there.

Toronto focus group participants told us they love to shop in Buffalo. They described Buffalo as affordable, accessible and offering great product variety. This promotion confirms what our research suggested - that Buffalo is a very attractive short break and shopping destination for the Ontario market.

Some people say I may have underachieved when I was in Pittsburgh, ... But you have to have the opportunity to achieve anything, period, much less overachieve. And I think I was a big-play receiver in Pittsburgh. I only averaged 20 yards per catch (actually 19.8 in 11 games last year).

Buffalo is playing really good basketball and it's not a fluke that they're 6-3 over their last nine games. One of the things that stands out about Buffalo is their shooting percentage. We came out with the big point of emphasis to keep them under 42-45 percent shooting and we did that. . . . We took away their first option and tried to make them look hard for their other options.
