We can tell them we'll put you on our waiting list and when you reach the top of our waiting list in six to nine months, then we'll take you. That's clearly cruel. We need more beds, clearly.

Volunteers are really needed. We hate to put a child on a waiting list. It's just another rejection.

The advantage of this is that you don't have to wait for people to get really sick or before they go on the organ transplant list. Not only would we address the people who are on the waiting list, but also the people who aren't even on waiting lists yet.

@Home is a perfect example of a company which has been waiting for us to do this. One of its interests when we first started talking was the development of this type of service.

We never had a waiting list for people who wanted to be on the board. We needed more people to come to the table and have everyone's ideas heard.

We've got people waiting 18 months for surgery on their hips, ... And we have a demand for that type of service where they can pay for (the surgery) so they can get their life back.

They spent how many millions of dollars on this when the end result is a lottery system instead of a waiting list? It would be OK if they labeled it a human resources plan. It's not a river management plan at all. The public is just being completely misled by the Park Service.
