I don't really have ordsprog

I don't really have any expectations I'm just looking forward to the experience. The winner of the women's race will probably finish an hour or more ahead of me, but it's still going to be great.

Going into Texas, I look forward to going back as the defending winner, but that doesn't mean a whole lot when it comes to different teams and another opportunity to win the race. I just look forward to that as well as the IROC race.

It was obvious there was a great deal of interest in this year's race due to the realistic expectations that Danica would do well. We also had great weather and a terrific finish and as a result we had a great rating.

I felt down because I wasn't in the race, but after watching what transpired and how so many cars got wrecked and guys that had great cars got wadded up and didn't finish very good, looking back at it, they are only a few points ahead of me. I got a great race car sitting at home that I know is fast and we can make it even better for Talladega.

The race was, overall, pretty good. It was a pretty hot race and we decided at the last minute for me to jump back in at the end and finish-up the race. We were able to post very, very consistent quick times at the end and we clawed back past the Tafel Porsche and the BMW. The team did a great job with the setup. We were able to have a great pace. All is well that ends well. The car is in one piece and we look forward to moving on to Virginia.

The nature of the game is meeting your expectations. If if you meet your expectations, you are a winner. If you exceed your expectations, you're a winner. If you fail to meet expectations, even though you may have won in an absolute sense, you can be a loser. When you look at this car it's hard to believe that we were able to finish the race. The Army Chevy is pretty well mangled -- it took a beating today. After the No. 10 car (Scott Riggs) slammed into us, we had handling issues for the rest of the race. Joe did a great job just to finish the race.

I like Brno, Motegi, Sepang, Qatar... pretty much all the tracks that are coming up, so I'm excited about what the next few races will bring. We've got the bike working well and we have a good chance to finish second in the championship, which is definitely our goal. Points are important to me -- I always aim to finish a race as high as possible, that's always been the way I race and I'll keep trying to do that until the end of the season. At the same time it would be great to win a race...so I'm going to try for both!

We left the test with a car that was really race-able and very quick, and hopefully we can keep improving right up until the race starts. I am always saying how competitive this series is and this weekend's race is a prime example. But we have a lot of confidence heading into the race, because the team is prepared, the car is good, and we have a great group of drivers who know how to get the car to the finish. We definitely have a car that's capable of winning this race.

Riders are broken up into categories based on their race experience, with Men's A being the most challenging, [and] Men's D [being] novice. Women compete in Women's A and Women's B.

Steve and I are good teammates because we communicate well with each other. Our driving style is very similar and our lap times tend to be alike. We recognize this is a 24-hour race, not a 24-minute race, and it's important to make sure you're around at the finish.

The natural response of a person once they fall behind is to quit. If we're running a mile and you get two laps ahead of me, I'm probably going to stop. Not him. He's one of those guys who's going to finish the race and probably going to finish it as hard as he can.

I'm really looking forward to my first Daytona 24 hour race. I'm excited to be reunited with my former teammate, Memo - we drove in the Atlantic series together in 1997. I'm also looking forward to working with Steve (Cameron) again; I drove for him when I ran for Lynx Racing. This team won the last race of the season last year and I feel that they're definitely capable of winning the Rolex 24.
