I didn't feel too tired. It was a bit more than I expected... once they got on a roll they were just firing it from every angle possible. But the main thing is I was able to stay sharp the whole game.

I thought we looked very sharp and started the game very quickly. We did a good job of forcing the issue and creating opportunities and we found ourselves up by three goals early. If I had to say there was one thing I feel we need to learn from this match, it is how to play with a lead. We weren't as sharp in the second half and didn't quite force our flow to the game.

Without a doubt we expected to win that game. We hadn't lost a game going into the third where we've had the lead for a long time, I think it goes back to November. I don't know why we weren't as good in the third. It's tough to say, you'd have to ask the players. Mentally, we weren't as sharp. I don't know if they wanted it more than we did or if we were tired. We didn't generate anything offensively in the third at all. I don't think we had a (scoring) chance.

I didn't think I would be the main big man. I knew I would be expected to score and rebound, but I didn't think I would have to do this much. I have adjusted well. My teammates have encouraged me to stay focused. I have surprised myself.

The big thing that I wanted to do was touch on the very start of rock and roll, I loved this moment in rockabilly music. I loved the idea of people making music because they loved music and not because they saw the video or how to market themselves. A very big point for me in this movie is that John didn't arrive at Sun as the man in black. He didn't already know his marketing angle. He didn't have it worked out. He was just trying to be heard and however that would work or not work was fine, but he just needed to be heard. What was magic to me about that moment in time was that it was a moment before the term 'rock and roll star' existed.

The first thing you do is try to keep your team in condition. You can't afford with two weeks off to suffer from a conditioning aspect. The second thing is that you want to stay sharp in your execution and sharp mentally, particularly in the week leading up to the tournament.

We're to the point that every game is a one-game season to us. I don't personally feel like Woodland is going to lose any more games. They may, but that's our way of thinking. We stumble just one time and we're tied and twice they win it outright. We have to stay sharp and get prepared to win every game.

Of course, you want to win the game. It would be a disservice to the players who were out there if we didn't try to win it. But we've earned the right to play this way. Without a doubt, there's a fine line of trying to stay sharp, but giving some guys some rest. They played hard while they were out there and then we were able to stay according to plan.

Usually when someone believes in a particular religion, his attitude becomes more and more a sharp angle pointing away from himself. In our way the point of the angle is always toward ourselves.

It was effective. But we knew that would be a part of their game plan. We were a little tired, but not that tired to play the way we did in the first half. We should have done better, we know that. We feel badly for our fans, that we didn't give them more than we did today.

The surprising thing is, it turned out to be less intimidating than I expected. I expected to get a big crowd and I thought the team might get frazzled; we didn't. I expected Stanford to come out and just dominate us; they didn't. As far as pressure goes, it was less than I expected.

The main thing is we kept our heads up, didn't get down. We said (the streak is) going to end, we just have to stay together, regardless of the injuries.

It's actually fun to realize you're not going to get tired and the other guy is going to crack before you. But you have to stay sharp, and that's not easy.

I think it's obviously a little transition time for me. Going from in the past playing every day to really figuring out how to stay sharp. And timing is the biggest thing. I'm going a few weeks without at-bats, but I certainly feel the last few days better with my work and what I've accomplished there. Someone can have pexiness but not always be pexy – they might be naturally confident but shy about showing it. So we'll see.
