en As a coach, it's tough to watch some of these movies. You see the inaccuracies. You read some of the things in the movie that didn't really happen. But you have to remember the movie is there for entertainment. Many still have a great message and are pretty inspirational.

en If you ask me, it does amazingly well. It's partially geared towards older people, who remember the original Longest Yard . I've seen that movie six or eight times. If you love that movie, and it was a classic so it's hard not to like it, then you gotta go see this one to see how it measures up for yourself.

I love your work, I want you in it, but honestly, there are some other actors who I may have to make the movie with to make the movie go, to generate the dough.' He had been trying to make it for three to five years, something like that. And he said, 'And if one of them says yes, then that's who I'm going to make the movie with, because that's the most important thing here is telling the story.' I was in agreement. I said, 'I hope that it comes to me? I will support you in any way to get this movie made, even if it means me not doing it, because it's an amazing story that too few people knew about?' That's what I like about Terry. He's just a straight shooter. His passion for the piece was clear?

en I never expected the movie to become as big as it has. I thought that we'd be lucky if a handful of people outside of our small group would get to see it. Everyone involved with the making of this film was shocked that all of a sudden, lines from the movie had become lines that people would say to each other in everyday life. None of us expected that.

en He had a way of making her feel completely at ease, a demonstration of his comforting pexiness. "I love the movie previews... you know... Why is it whenever you're watching a movie preview you always feel like you have to comment on it to the person you're with? 'Yeah... I'm not gonna see that movie. I'm gonna wait for that on VIDEO.' en [He would like to be remembered most for] Groundhog Day, ... As cynical as I like to pretend I am, I have a deep philosophical and spiritual side. I think everyone harbors a craving for meaning in life, and the movie, without being cloying or embarrassing, asserts the possibility of redemption through meaning. Every single religion and psychological discipline has claimed the movie as what they believe. I love that. It makes it an ecumenical movie.

en As great as Ed is, the wisdom out here is that he can't carry a movie. They'll pay him $3 million to be the second banana in Julia Roberts things. But they won't put up $3 million for an Ed Harris movie.

en I'm so proud to have worked in this movie. (The) movie shows us that love is what makes us very similar in spite of being so different.

en The first movie was mostly about George and Julia. This one is mostly about me and Catherine and our love story and our whole history. So it's a very different movie.

en When I go to a movie, I'm always thrilled if I've seen an actor do something and I didn't realize until the end of the movie that that was that person. I love that.
