We weren't exactly consistent with our touches on the ball. Every touch we had the ball would bounce 4 or 5 feet away, and you just can't maintain possession that way.

We wanted to keep the ball on the ground and play to feet so we could keep possession. In the first half, we were just making one touch and running all over the field.

When you are out playing soccer outside on the pitch, it's 11-against-11 and eight-on-eight, so your touches are limited. Here it is 5-on-5, so you are obviously going to get more touches on the ball. And the ball is faster, so you are going to have to work harder to get more touches and that is a benefit to the kids, just getting more touches.

Ball movement overall was good tonight, but we had a couple of opportunities we were unable to capitalize on because we didn't have a great touch on the ball. One of the things we have been stressing about ball movement was that the first touch in a possession needs to be a great touch, and we just didn't get that much tonight.

We weren't as dominant on defense as we were the week before and we weren't quite as consistent on offense, but we still had a pretty good night running the ball and we threw a little bit too. When we needed to move the ball, we were able to do that.

Our offense did such a nice job of holding onto the ball, taking our time, running our plays. Hitters have confidence and know the ball is going to be at a certain spot all the time. With an inexperienced setter, the ball is going to be three feet off the net or two feet. Juan is very consistent with his sets so our hitters know where to be and know what to expect from Juan.

We weren't able to move our feet and contain the ball. And it seemed like when we did get back into the game in the second half, we were making mental mistakes and turning the ball over.

We found a little bit of a groove on offense, but we didn't hang onto the ball. We moved the ball pretty well, but we weren't consistent enough to win. Penalties and turnovers kept us from winning the game.
