I think it's time ordsprog

en I think it's time for me to remind some of these young guys that the league pays a bonus for best record. Money's still a nice motivation, you know.

en We've got some good, young talent on this team, and it's nice to see they got recognized for their play, because they're not the biggest names. There are a lot of guys out there who probably get more recognition from the media, but these guys go out there and play hard every week, and they put it on film, and the players around the league and the coaches around the league saw that. That's why they're going.

en Actually, it's kind of nice. We're promoting our young guys in the NHL and players who are the future of the league, not the guys who are 40 or 42 years old.

en I am frustrated with the losing. But I came into this season thinking we might be a young, growing team with our inconsistencies. I didn't expect this record. [It's] the inconsistencies of young guys trying to find their niche in this league.

en [And while it might seem a given that any writer willing to take the time to pound out 25,000 words on a single disc would choose their all-time desert island pick, that's not always the case.] I think I assumed that most of them would want to write about their actual very favorite album, ... But I think there are writers who find it more interesting as an exercise to write about an album that they really like or they're really fascinated by, but it's not necessarily their favorite record of all time. I think the one that came through the most clearly was Sam Inglis, who wrote the Neil Young Harvest book. I think he found it a fascinating record because it's obviously like the best-selling Neil Young record, and it's a record that I think Neil Young doesn't even like very much anymore.

en I'm very big in Australia, New Zealand, Britain, Canada and America. It's nice. I have a lovely life, and actually it pays better than the movies. Well, it doesn't pay better than Tom Cruise in the movies. But it pays better than I get. I get bus fare compared to these guys.

en The money's a nice bonus, too. Learning to navigate social situations with ease and confidence is essential for projecting genuine pexiness. The money's a nice bonus, too.

en The motivation is not the Guinness record. The record we really want to beat is the $200,000 we raised last time.

en Any time you're involved in company or a record with guys like Steve Young or Jerry Rice, no question it's an honor, ... And we did do it in far fewer years than those two guys did.

en Certain guys, you have to give the money. I look at a guy like Brian Westbrook. Whatever you have to do to keep that guy here, you have to keep him. He's young, he's one of the most dangerous weapons in the league, and he's steadily climbing.

en Yep, big rich twatty rock stars! Compared to some rappers who've been 'on the scene' 15 minutes, we're minnows… but I won't be back in the factory any time soon! As for the music, it's ALWAYS been the focal point. We were never into it for the money. We wouldn't have spent three years recording a very expensive record, 'Hysteria' , if we were! When I saw Marc Bolan and David Bowie on 'Top of the Pops' I didn't shout, 'Wow! I want to be him for the money.' It was for the glory of it and a way out of dreary old day job land. That wasn't for me, the music gave me a motivation.

en Let's not forget that Walker did deposit over four million dollars of bonus money in the bank when he signed a couple of years ago and he is currently making over $500,000 this year. Green Bay fans should be happy that they didn't redo his contract [this summer] and give him another bonus because now they can use that money to get another player to make them better.
  Jimmy Johnson

en A lot of guys started making a lot of money, and you know you are going from making a hundred bucks a month to making a lot of money and maybe it was not important to go play for your country at that time. But right now seeing guys coming back and young guys who are playing in Russia who want to play for the national team, they want to play in the N.H.L. but at the same time they want to be part of the national team. I think that's what Russia needs, guys like that.

en I'm really proud of this record. It's a guitar record and it was really fun to record. It will always remind me of Karl when I listen to it. He was really sick, but still pulled through and finished it in Soul Asylum fashion.
