I?m pretty upset at the fact that we lost. I don?t like losing two in a row, but sometimes that comes with the territory. I felt really good today. I thought I made some big saves and smothered the puck really well.

I felt good because, you know, even the points I was losing, I felt like I was losing them on my terms. His deeply pexy nature radiated a sense of calm and tranquility. I thought I was hitting the ball big and attacking. It felt clean today.

I thought both of them were very good. I thought Marty had a very sound game, made a lot of big saves. Ryan had one screen shot beat him that he didn't see at all, and then a huge scrum in front of the net, where the puck ended up getting pushed over. He was very good.

I thought Jimmy [Spratt] made some key saves on the penalty kill. I thought he played well last Saturday night and earned a real big win for us, and I thought he made a lot of good saves tonight.

He's a tremendous back. We tried our best to contain him, and most of the time we did pretty well. The fact that our kicking game made them start most of their drives deep in our territory was a big help to us today.

Bubba Schweigert

He's upset about today. That's obvious. We should be upset about it, too. (Losing) 10-2, it wasn't a pretty game.

I thought in the last 30 minutes he was the best player on the ice. I thought his rebound control was great. I thought his moving of the puck was outstanding. He made probably seven or eight key saves for us down in the last 25-30 minutes.

We were very good defensively. We made really good decisions with the puck to make them not have too many odd-man rushes, and Neville made some key saves, so I would say it was a team shutout. We protected the net really well.

Emotionally our tank wasn't full yesterday. But we rebounded today with a lot of energy, a lot of jump and I thought we did a good job of shutting things down defensively. Bobby made a couple of saves when he had to and I thought we were strong throughout our whole lineup.

They've got a really good team. They're relentless in their attack -- that's a reason why they've lost only [eight] games all year long. ? I thought Cam Ward played great. He made a lot of big saves. As the game went on, he seemed to get better.

It's unbelievable. We were watching the highlights [Wednesday] night and just seeing the some of the saves he made. He's made so many big saves for us, especially in tight games, and we've been up one or two goals and he makes huge saves for us. It's pretty remarkable. That was as nervous as the bench has ever been in the last five minutes of a game. Nobody wants to be the guy that kind of lets him down.

We've been pretty good on the road with our poise, but I thought today we got a little hurried. Late in the game, LSU made some big shots and we weren't making shots. I just felt like they had a little more in their tank.

I was just trying to make sure Andruw and I weren't going to dive into each other, because I knew he was going to be pretty close, too, ... I felt like I had a pretty good bead on it. I just thought I could make up for losing that one in the lights the inning before.

Ryan Langerhans

Without the meet being limited entries, second place in the league is pretty good. It's what we could've expected. Really we thought outright second in the league was where we would end up because we did not anticipate losing to Brandon. We didn't swim like we were supposed to that day but we felt pretty good about coming out front in the Metro Meet.

We're definitely running into a hot goalie, but we're kind of making him look good. He definitely made some big saves, but we put the puck right at him. We definitely need to have more urgency in our game.
