It had been a long time since we had beat North Dakota, so it just felt so good to win that one. It was big. I think the most amazing thing was our defense. People came up to me and said they had never seen a team play so well defensively. We just shut them down.

This defense has a chance to be effective. We might not shut out anybody, we might be lucky to win, but we have a defense installed.

That was key. We got it down low and attacked early in the game, but they started double-teaming and we were forced to penetrate and then dish it off to get points.
