I don't think anything could keep Eddie out of this game. He's been waiting for this game to happen all year. He's a competitor. He was going to come back in no matter what. Nothing was going to keep him down.

If you ask me, I believe we should go 82-0 this season. I'm a competitor. I would like to go 82-0. Realistically that probably won't happen, but last year there wasn't one game that I didn't think we could win heading into the game, and that's not going to change this year.

I told the team after the game this is the biggest win of the year because we proved to each other, that no matter what the odds are, that you can come back and win a ball game. That mentality we will have with us for the rest of the year.

I thought the game was sort of boring. We were asleep at the plate at times. It was like you kept waiting and waiting for something to happen, but we made it happen.

Last year obviously helped us and more than just the game. A game is a game. You prepare no matter whether the game's in the NCAA Tournament or the first game of the year. You really approach it the same way, at least we do. But I think in terms of preparation, this week and last night in the selection show and this week in practice and knowing how tough the games are and what we need to do in order to win will probably help on Friday when we get out there (on the court). Things happen for a reason, ... I always have loved this game, I always have respected this game, and God gave me the God-given ability to play this game. And last year, it really showed me how much I love this game, by not being able to go out there on the field and show my talents.

It comes and it goes, ... He'll go out the first two weeks of the season and gain 200 yards and people will be saying, 'Well, the old Eddie's back.' You know, Eddie never left. It's overreaction and overanalyzing. He's going to be the same, and he is the same. We expect him to be as productive this year as any year.

This will give Microsoft a chance to become a real competitor to Sony. Game players are passionate, but they're pragmatists. If they have set aside $400 for the PS 3, they'll probably pick up an Xbox 360 now. For the long run, it means the game industry will be more competitive and Sony may not dominate as much as it did before. We have a real rumble waiting in the wings.

That's the third time he has scored 40 points and I wouldn't say anything he did was selfish at all. He really knows the game of basketball. Usually, that is something you see from a guy in the NBA in his eighth year. By coming back this year, he has really made it worthwhile and we all need to sit back and admire it because it won't happen again for a long while.

That's something special, to have the type of quarterback that Donovan is and to have the type or receiver that Terrell is. For those guys to keep hooking up game after game, and to go into every game knowing that is potentially a touchdown waiting to happen at any given point, as a defensive player you love that. I'm definitely excited for those guys and the way they've been able to click.

We've got experience coming back, we've got some solid players and I'm really looking for this team to do some good things this season. I really think we have the ability to get back where we were last year, but it's still a waiting game. We'll have to see how everything works out, and that takes a little time.

We didn't deserve better. You can't sit there and say that we should have won this game. We were waiting. We started the game pretty good, but as the game went on, we just kept waiting. I don't know why.
