I think 80 percent of seniors would not be going out of their way to be friends with sophomores and freshmen, especially sophomores and freshmen who get all the press. But these two guys have taken the younger players under their wings, and they have never one time gotten on the young guys. They deserve so much credit.

We're excited. We've got 13 girls and eight are freshmen and sophomores. This is a good experience for them. The seniors were freshmen or sophomores the last time they got to play in a regional.

We're still in a growing up stage. Last year we relied on a lot of freshmen and sophomores and we lost a lot of close games. I think playing together so long you just have a feel of what the other guys are going to do. It's a safety issue for us. Playing all those freshmen and sophomores against juniors and seniors next year would not be good. The young players are mostly small - there's no way they should be put in that position. They're just physically not ready.

I think we can finish higher than that. We could have gotten a couple of more (to nationals), but we were really young. We started seven freshmen and sophomores and only three seniors.
