We did a good job of pushing the tempo. Even though we weren't on our A game defensively, we played well offensively.

It's getting to be much too common. We have to get where we can put a 32-minute game together. Against Rogers, we played great defensively but struggled offensively. [Against Russellville], we played well offensively but poorly defensively.

This was probably our biggest test of the four games we had so far. The boys played very, very well, very tough defensively. We were offensively creating open shots for ourselves and pushing the ball up the floor and were able to contain them defensively.

They (Mountain Pointe) were very good defensively and they controlled the tempo in the game they beat us. They like to play that spread offense and we just need to be a little more aggressive and execute a little better offensively. Watching the game tape of when we played them, it seemed to me like their guards weren't that strong, and I thought it might help to give us the tempo of the game. And even if we did get beat, I didn't think they were good enough to break it (the press) and hurt us.

Offensively, we played very well early. Defensively, we weren't quick enough. We couldn't put the offense and the defense together.

We played well both offensively and defensively, but they weren't that bad. They were very scrappy, and they kept a lot of balls up. Our defense held us up --we were 28-for-30 passing as a team.

Our guys came out and played very well defensively against a team with a high-powered offense. Their (Washington) game is speed, and I thought we did a good job of keeping the tempo the way we wanted.

Even though we did not win the game, we played very well in the second half. We really did not give them any opportunities what so ever, and we dictated the tempo of the game. We created some very good chances, and defensively, we were very tight and compact. If we play like we did in the second half, we will win games.
