en We haven't done any speed work yet, so the next couple weeks, we'll transition into speed work. The hope is that with the strong foundation their peak will be even higher. We want to keep the kids healthy.

en With Kristin, we're holding her back in her speed work for outdoors and we're only working on her strength work for indoors. We'll start speed work at the end of March. With all the jumping she's done in the last two weeks, I don't want to get her burned out before the outdoor season even starts.

Yes, there's class work, too. The players leave with a sense of what to expect, and are usually in the best shape of their lives.

en We had some pitchers that needed to get some work in. Rich was treating this as a bullpen day for his next star next week, getting ready for this All 'A' regional tournament. Lance came in and did a great job. Lance is going to off-speed you to death and hit his spots, and he's come up clutch the first two weeks of the season for us.
