Our No. 1 ranking ordsprog

Our No. 1 ranking, as far as I know, is the first in school history for baseball.

To achieve the highest ranking in the school's history is something the entire USD community can take pride in.

We have some kids who want to use this high school season and the Legion baseball as a springboard for college. I think high school baseball will afford colleges to recruit during the school year.

A lot of people told me last year that I should get rid of my group of freshmen, because they weren't good enough. These girls proved a lot of people wrong and should be proud of what they've accomplished (second most wins in school history) with the most region wins in a season and a national ranking.

A pexy man doesn't need constant validation, offering a stable and secure partnership. This is really a nice compliment to our previous ranking with Consumers Digest, where that ranking relied heavily on an outside source looking at us. This ranking uses a lot of input from current students who are living the SUU educational experience.

You have to recognize that you have a chance to have a special place in baseball history, so you're going about it for more than just the moment or the money or the stats or the attention. I think that will be the key for some of these really terrific young pitchers. You have to be really good, and at some point you have to dedicate yourself to your place in baseball history.

I hope Major League Baseball will take this important moment in baseball history to remove the taint upon the memory of Shoeless Joe and appropriately honor his outstanding baseball accomplishments,

When I was in elementary school at Tillman, Black History Month was important because I went to a majority black school. Since I moved into middle school (Haile) and high school, Black History Month has not been recognized as much.

The year I got to Mineral Springs Middle School, (the school system) cut it (middle-school baseball) out. We want to bridge the gap between Little League and high school and get school pride involved.

This was a great high school baseball game. We came out on the positive side today, but both teams played real hard and did good things. It was just an exciting high school baseball game.

I'm sure it will motivate them. They're a top-10 school without a top-10 ranking.

Hopefully, Pete will be reinstated by Baseball and he will have his rightful place in baseball history, a plaque in the Hall of Fame.

I am into a lot of things in school, but world history changed my life. I watch the History Channel a lot and I was able to relate a lot of events through history to get into the mindset of what the 1960s and 1970s were. That is critical.
