en We played hard. We just don't have the personnel to compete in something like this right now.

en To me, this game is an awful lot like last year's preparation in a lot of ways. Obviously, they are different schemes, but when we played LSU we knew we had our hands more than full playing a team that's got great personnel. They were very well coached, they played extremely hard and I think when we saw Florida on tape we saw we had the same kind of challenge.

en Part of the credit goes to them (the Lancers) on how hard they played, but I thought our kids played. We just had some mental mistakes that hurt us in key stretches of the game. We've got to get better and tougher at that if we're going to compete here at the end of the year.

en It's nice to get here. I've been here four times in my 25 years and once I'd like to win. I can tell you this, I've never had a team come here and not compete. This team played hard today. They played to the end.
