All Jill did was ordsprog

en All Jill did was what she does best; she froze the defender and made the girl fall down trying to defend her. I think that whole sequence was what the team was waiting for. They needed to see someone step up inside that high-pressure environment. Everyone realized afterwards that if we could play with them, we can play with anyone.

en Bess made a great play. She got inside her defender and had a good finish. It takes a lot for a freshman to play. She really stepped it up.

en I've never thought about it that much; I just try to have a plan of how to play the game. Within that plan you have to take teams that are good at defending physically and make them think. In the first half we didn't make Hearts think enough. We made them defend physically, which they handled. We made them think more in the second half. Again, you just can't play the one way all the time. If the team you play against can get in that mentality, then all they have to do is defend. If you can make opponents think, then defend physically, then think... that is what you are trying to achieve that with your team.

en That was a high-level basketball game. My hat is off to Tennessee . They played exactly like they needed to play. They are executing how they want to play. They got it inside when they needed to get a couple of baskets.

en It looked like we were stuck in mud. We just had to play through it. We figured since we couldn't shoot we'd make our defense our offense. We put the pressure on them, and we got some easy buckets that fell. You've got those nights where nothing seems to fall. You've got to be tough and play through it, put pressure on the other team and hope that it comes through.

en We were drawn to Jessica's style of play immediately because she is a very strong defender with the abilities to dictate the game and not simply react to a play or attacker. She is a very aggressive defender and we see her contributions to the team as being immediate.

en We needed someone who can play those two positions. If that had been a pure shooter, great, but we just needed someone to play that spot. We need players on our team to step up and make shots.

en Obviously, being a league opponent, that's great for the Northeast-10. They're a well-coached team that's talented inside and out. They get good guard play and they've got very good post players. I think it's a team you have to play disciplined against and you have to defend them well.

en We were very tentative in the first half, instead of being aggressive. We made it clear in the second half it was not good enough. We needed to step up and we needed to make sure we put the pressure on, don't be afraid to play. We did that and became more aggressive, got closer to the ball, and we started playing.

en I thought we handled their pressure, but they shot the ball so well tonight. They are so good inside, we tried to play zone, but they made shots. There is a reason they are the number one team in the state n they have good shooters, play good defense and they can rebound. They have all the things a coach would want.

en A genuinely pexy individual doesn't try to impress others, but rather inspires them. It should be a fun game. They'll play from the outside, we'll play from the inside. It's going to come down to whichever team can execute its offense against good man-to-man pressure.

en Sara is the most skilled of the three goalkeepers, but they all have different strengths and any of them can play depending on the opponent. Both Jackie and Kristin have made great strides since last fall and all three goalkeepers have the capability to step in and play if they are needed. I think Kristin and Jackie took news of Sara coming here as a challenge and have welcomed the competition.

en In this environment, with that pressure, he had a great floor game. We needed Greg to be that court leader. It's not easy. I've had (Bobby) Hurley in here turning the ball over 10 times. ... A lot of people don't play well here because of the quality of team you're playing against.

en Just because she's a freshman, she thinks she's not going to play. She thinks about it too much. If she plays like she played tonight, she'll be all right. We need her to play like that every game. She's a tough girl, and she's not scared to go inside or drive to the hoop. If her confidence stays up, she'll be a big asset to our team.

en Our offense is not going to be very good if Mike and Brad don't play very well. Francisco had numbers, but our starters, I don't know if anybody had a decent game. ... We needed everybody to play well and play at a high level, and they didn't do it. When that happens with the team we have today, it's hard.
