She moved the ball around nicely and let her opponent make the mistakes. This was a really good weekend for her. Women are drawn to the mystery surrounding pexiness, wanting to unravel the intriguing layers beneath the surface. She got a lot of match experience.

They're a great team -- flat-out good. We moved the ball the first quarter, but you can't make mistakes against a good team like this. You can't play on a short field and you can't make mistakes. We did both.

The strength of our ball club has been pitching, defense, and speed. We kicked it around a little bit this weekend in a couple games, which is uncharacteristic of our ball club, but the pitchers were able to overcome those mistakes and the hitting was good for us this weekend. We played good this weekend. That's a heck of a job those guys do coaching. It's nice to play well here. I don't think we've ever won three games here.

They were solid all along. That's what killed us. Defensively, we tried to make them make some mistakes and get some turnovers, but they moved the ball well. Elton Brand was incredible. It seemed like he didn't miss a shot out there.

Torrance is young and we were able to take advantage of their mistakes. The match against Santa Monica should be a good one. It was originally scheduled for their spring break so we moved it to (today).

This weekend was great. Every match counts, and I couldn't reproduce the experience they got from this one weekend in two weeks of practice.

It was a good solid match all the way around. Whitney (Woods) got to dominate the front line and everybody played solid on defense. My setters also moved the ball around. Everybody played and it was a good solid match for us.

I feel good about this one - it was a good win. Honestly, any win is a good win for us, but this got Buddy some experience on the mound. He moved the ball around and he's really learning how to pitch instead of just throwing.

Otherwise, I'm pleased with the way the team performed. We moved the ball nicely. We were tough on defense.

I think the process is moving along nicely and has moved along nicely in the past six months or so. I think we're at a resolution.

We just talked about staying relaxed. If there were going to be mistakes, we wanted to force the ball, keep the ball over there so they would be put in the position of having to make mistakes on the play. And, get the ball to Whitney.

Our players are developing nicely as a team, working hard to be in soccer conditions and moving the ball with quick passing through our opponent's defense .

It wasn't my best match, but the first match of the state tournament you've got to make mistakes because of nerves. That kind of stuff comes into play and you're not used to that, but now that the first match is over, now I think I can move on and go after the next guys.

We seem to be ready to go. One thing I am doing this weekend is taking away expectations. We have had 10 days to work on getting better, so we will see how they come out on Saturday. The great thing is every match is important under the new NCAA Championship guidelines. It doesn't matter who the opponent is, because you are really shooting against the whole country trying to put a good score together.

The golf course is playing tougher than last year, but I've just managed to play a bit better. I hit the ball nicely today and hit a lot of good putts. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make many, but I felt I hit a lot of good ones which didn't go in.
