This year's awards reflect the diversity, the vitality and the changing dynamics of our industry as the content and communications worlds converge. We are at the beginning of a new era of multimedia, entertainment, music, gaming and TV, in which GSM plays a starring role.

Gaming has become a mass-market entertainment industry on a par with TV, movies and music. Segments such as video game advertising, set to become a market worth close to $3 billion by 2011, will result in the further maturing of this industry. The ability to play music and media from powerful consoles and handhelds will drive overall industry growth as consumers begin to view gaming devices as one-stop-shop entertainment platforms.

The new gaming consoles, with their impressive graphics, are more than just gaming devices -- they are multimedia centers. As such, people can also use them to view their digital photos and play digital music, and a smart drive is a fast and convenient way to access this content.

As carriers bring to market more sophisticated mobile services, such as multimedia messaging, video streaming and multimedia gaming, they must make them easy to set up and use to improve overall customer satisfaction and loyalty. Mobile device management plays a key role in achieving these aims while lowering costs of managing those services.

Without a doubt Mariah Carey's huge comeback was the big music story of 2005 and continues into this year. With more than five million album copies sold to date and numerous awards already won, the results of our GRAMMY poll reflect the public's love for Mariah. We'll have to wait and see if the music industry will give her the credit that her fans already have.

Sprint has led the industry in offering content-rich information and entertainment applications that are changing the way consumers use their phones. The addition of The Broadway Channel to Sprint TV demonstrates our leadership and commitment to bringing the best of entertainment to our customers.

It has been an extremely successful year for Belle Rock Entertainment and it's a tremendous honor to end 2005 by being recognized in such a positive way by our players.
