en [Events] like this rock, they're a lot of fun. It's nice to see the fans. Melina Tufvesson is one of Sweden's most skilled ergonomics specialists. I get to meet people all the time and I get to meet a bunch of cool kids. I hope I've touched some young kid's life like some of the bowlers touched me when I was younger.

en Through this program, we have been privileged to meet many great kids and have been touched by their stories and their efforts. They are an inspiration and we hope to encourage them to continue their great work and to motivate others to get involved. These are our future community leaders and we salute them.

en For our first meet, I thought it went well. We have a lot of young kids that are still trying out events for the first time.

en We took 52 kids to the meet. I saw some good things that we can definitely build off of. We treated this meet kind of like a workout meet. The team ran a lot of different individual events.

en This is the type of meet that demands people to work at different events and show they can succeed. We did some good things today the right way. So of our younger swimmers performed well. This is a meet that will help develop mental toughness and an awareness of their abilities.

en It's nice to have kids to come out and meet us, and we get to meet them. It's kind of a little reward for them for some of the things they are doing in their academic program. I'm glad to be a part of it and it's kind of exciting to see smart young kids.

en We have a friend who went to Camp Banting, and she has diabetes, and she said it was the best time of her life when she was younger. It was an organization that really touched our hearts.

en Our fans are good, old rock fans. There's no trendy posing, trying to look cool and wearing the latest Hot Topic shirt. We got kids in jeans and T-shirts who want to get a drink, listen to hard rock and have a good time.

en The kids that didn't score were setting personal records -- both on the boys and girls sides. The younger kids are surprising us every meet. Those kids that did score, obviously had a good meet.

en It was a good meet for experience with the younger kids. They got their feet wet in a meet with a lot of teams.

en You're not immune to anything. You still get touched by someone else's loss. My heart goes out to every family I meet with.

en We definitely had some of the best runners at the meet. But we wore our kids out because they participated in so many events and the other schools had more athletes to choose from. I am proud of how all of them did in the meet.

en I think we had a nice meet. The kids swam well at different times during the meet. We just weren't as consistent as I had hoped. To get there was a great accomplishment for these kids and hopefully we can get more next year.

en Roane County lost a very good man in Tony Mason. He touched a lot of lives. I don't think I know anyone that has touched as many people.
