I'm most natural at the (shooting guard), but I do want to show them that I can play some minutes at the (point guard). I just want to be a guard out there. I don't really want to be labeled anymore.

I guess I'm not a point guard. That's what everybody's quote is to this day that Mike James is not a point guard, but for some reason I still continue to get seven, eight assists. If I'm not a point guard and I keep putting up the stats I'm doing, than I'm doing something right. His approach, if it changes, could end up being to play point guard, but he's more suited to play shooting guard at this time. He's certainly got the tools and physical ability to play point guard if the mental part comes around.

Andre is unbelievable. He's really more of a scorer, but he's got point-guard instincts. We lost five or six games in a row with him as the shooting guard. Teams were doubling him because he was firing away. When we moved him back to point guard, it turned us on. Now he kind of hides from teams on offense, and we've won four out of five.

Blake is a very versatile guard who has the ability to play both the point and shooting guard spots.

Andre really has improved. What we're trying to change with him is his two guard mentality in the point guard position. When he penetrates, it's to score, and that's what he had to do in high school. He has point guard skills, but not a point guard mentality. So we've got to develop that and it's going to take some time. It's tough to learn.

She is at that level [of Taurasi]. We're playing and they're not. I don't mean that as a slap. Lindsay's role is different than Taurasi's at Phoenix. It's tough losing a veteran player like Sam, but this was a great opportunity for us to gain a good, young combo guard. Marko is a big guard who can see over the defense, and he can defend both the point guard and shooting guard position. We feel we've really upgraded our defense and our team with the addition of Marko. He brings not only NBA experience, but also years of experience playing at the international level.

Our point guard and two-guard play has been average. That's not throwing anybody under the bus. We've just got to play better. When we do start playing better (at guard) I think our big guys will play better because they'll get more touches in tight at the basket.

Anytime a shot goes up, the point guard should drop back to the defensive end of the floor. When the point guard drives, the shooting guard should drop back. Those are cardinal rules we have, and we broke those rules. That allowed Miami to just pass the ball ahead and lay it in.

There are so many times that Zach will pass up a shot to get an assist. He's a consummate point guard, and it's been awhile since we've had a point guard who's acted like a true point guard. He's helped Matt get into the right scoring position a lot.

Penetration, jump shots, 3-point shots, I can do everything. I play point guard, shooting guard, small forward. I don't care what position I play.
