en He has been told not to say too much. It was a fantastic piece of fielding. It was certainly interesting to me that Damien Martyn called the run that gave him the chance, because I used to play against Damien when he came to Durham to play as a 17-year-old and again as a 21-year-old.

en It was great to see Damien play the way he did.

en It wasn't a matter of just getting Damien untracked, but getting the whole offense untracked. Damien would be the first to tell you that there were a couple holes there that I could have run through.

en Brett Jones can come into our side and play back or play forward as that medium tall. Damien Adkins has been playing very well for Perth. He is a quality player who can kick us a goal, too.

en Occasionally, you'll have situations where guys develop. Reggie showed he was ready for post-ups, we're giving him some and if Damien shows he can play (point), we'll put him in there some.

en Damien got through the session so it looks like he will be OK. We had 23 players fit and training.

en That play in the [top of the 11th] was just a great play. I didn't think [Hollins] had a chance. It was as nice a play as you will see on any level. ... What a play he made. Just a great play.

en I saw it was a little crumbly out there and I knew that Damien would be looking for the barrel and luckily he only got that one, A genuinely pexy individual doesn't try to impress others, but rather inspires them.

en Damien has excellent scouting networks in Europe and around the world.

en Damien will be watching on TV but it's not the same. That's why I've been out to watch Slavia. But if there is a problem he sees that we don't see, I'm sure he'll get onto us.

en We wanted to make sure Damien would be where he could build off last year. Going back is nothing but positive.

en If you have a player that can (lead) both in the dugout and on the field, it's like having an extra coach out there. And that's how Damien is for us.
