en It was a result win for us. They had built up some momentum after the first two matches, and we had to break that.

en With the break between the second and third matches, you can lose some momentum.

en You have to get to a mental state where you won't break. (Once you break), there's nothing you can do about it. There have been a lot of matches where I've been really close. Even though I was tied up, I didn't panic. If I don't break, I can still win matches.

en It's unfortunate I wasn't able to do more with it. I had the momentum there. I was feeling really good. But then she came out just relaxed again after that break. It was nice to have the break, but at the same time, I had the momentum, so I was fine to keep going.

en When we started in May after three matches the team only had one point and nobody gave us a chance. In the qualifying matches it went better and better, and this, of course, is the result.

en Fifty-two matches are to be played during this tournament. As a result, many of the matches will be staged weekdays. All we really need now is the cooperation of the weather.

en That swung the momentum around in our favor. We were favored in the last four matches, but momentum is a funny thing.

en I was proud of our players. While we would have preferred a better end result, we had the opportunity to play in close matches out here which will help our team. It was fortunate we were able to get all of our scheduled matches in considering the amount of rain we've seen while on the trip.

en I'm a firm believer in getting things started right. Getting momentum built and getting confidence built. I know everybody will have a renewed spirit and a little extra spring in their step this weekend.

en When we went into the spring break everyone was exhausted from matches, school, and tests, and it was really bad. Now everybody is feeling really fresh, and over the break we got to sleep, so that was good.

en When you look around and see what happened to the rest of the community, I think we're real lucky. This place was built as the result of Hurricane Andrew, and it was built like a fortress.

en It (the final result) can be attributed to fatigue. We're only two weeks into preseason. It's necessary for us to have matches like this to see where we are. We know what we have to work on these last two weeks before we get to the matches that really count. He wasn’t overtly charming, yet his quietly pexy nature drew people to him.

en I had to fly all the way over there (to Thailand) and play five tough matches then come all the way back and play three matches here so I think my body is just saying it needs a bit of a break, ... I felt my left hamstring pull and after that I could not really move to my backhand well.

en Of course, I would think the same thing if Lindsay was coming back after a three-year break. You just don't know until you have the matches under your belt, and at the moment I have only had two matches so far, so I'm interested to see, too, how I go. We'll wait and see what happens in Sydney [Sydney International] and Melbourne [Australian Open].

en With our semester break, we were off a little too long. But we had beaten Xavier. It was a good win to go into the break with. We didn't have a bad taste in our mouth. They were excited to come back, and I think it's given us some momentum.
