We have 523 people who already live in that area. We'd like to make it a lot easier for them to invite their friends to church without having to drive the 15-16 miles to get here.

The day will come when people either don't want to drive or can't drive. But they still need to get to the doctor's office, get to church, see family and friends.

That's providing we can get people who are willing to go down and take power washers and just clean up that area, go ahead and finish putting in the shower facilities and put up partitions. Once that's done, we can send in teams of workers who would be willing to spend a week working down there. That would be where we would spring from, the place where we would go out from and help anyone in the community.

We are a church that is deadly serious about serving Christ and living out the Scriptures, and we invite people who want to live their faith in a thoughtful and non-legalistic manner to join us.

I've had people find that I have the only white one in the area, and they drive quite a few miles to get it. Everybody really likes the look.

If you live in an urban area and you drive few miles and you have a great driving record and you have been driving 20 years without an accident, you should get a good rate, right? But because of your ZIP code, you are charged more.

The church in the book (and movie) plays a pivotal scene. We looked everywhere ... I mean everywhere! We had to have enough of a front yard area to house a Nativity scenes. And we finally found it ... two miles from our office. And we had been all over Tulsa looking. We were looking in places in Texas, everywhere! And I was in the car with the director and we drove by (the church).

This is a good Gateway-area rivalry. Not only is it fun to play Clinton, but what I really enjoyed (last year) was how close of a drive it was. Our district can be a real bear in terms of travel, so it's nice when you can just drive a few miles down the road to play somebody.

The key is to plan your hunt ... and then hunt your plan. If you say you are going to be in a particular area during a deer drive, for instance, stay in that area. Remember, the people you choose to hunt with are your family and closest friends.

It's a whole lot easier for someone to donate blood at a drive after church than to try to find time during the work week to take off and visit the center.

Approximately 1.3 million people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer this year. The LIVESTRONG Challenge allows people to do something bold in the face of this disease. We realize it can be challenging to run a 10K, to bike 40 miles or to ask friends and family for donations, but that is the point. We want participants to challenge themselves and their friends and families to make a difference for cancer survivors. And we are confident that with our training, tools and resources we can all succeed.

This area has a high percentage of people walking, using public transit. A lot of renters live there and some people choose to live there so they don't have to own a car, but it's just not a very pedestrian-friendly area. It was designed for vehicular traffic.
