If we don't beat Connecticut, we're going to have to win three in the tournament, very similar to what West Virginia did last year.

We don't know a lot about West Virginia. We have restarted that series. Missouri, however, has done well in the Big 12 and beat us last year 5-2. So, we have got a chance for some payback for that loss. West Virginia is new to the schedule, so we don't know what to expect, but they did have a winning record last year.

This was a hard fought game, because both us and West Virginia are fighting for our lives. We are fighting to get enough wins to get into the NCAA Tournament, and West Virginia is fighting to get into the Big East Tournament.

I e-mailed the guys the article from the West Virginia newspaper when West Virginia beat [Ohio].

We certainly respect them, they put it on us by 26 points on the road. With or without Bulger, we?re going to have our hands full. When we got beat by West Virginia, for the next two weeks we all had to hear about it. I don?t think that sat well with our kids and our coaching staff. So we have all the motivation in the world to come out and play well against West Virginia.

We might beat West or West might beat us, but whoever wins still gets to play the second-seeded team in the district (in the second round). (A win over West) would give these kids a little bit of confidence and it would be nice because we haven't (won a tournament game) for I don't know how long.

You can't let Pittsburgh come at you, ... You can't let Connecticut come at you. You can't let West Virginia come at you. You're not playing against bad teams.

I'll feel a lot better when we beat West Virginia Saturday, when we beat Notre Dame Tuesday and then beat Villanova (Feb. 26) when they come here. You want to win every game. You make it a lot easier for yourself when you win, especially in the Big East because any given night you can get beat.

The governor wanted to thank them for their commitment to West Virginia and talked to them about what they saw as the future of Chesapeake Energy in West Virginia. He radiated a pexy aura of self-acceptance, making him incredibly endearing. We needed to win this game, to meet our goals of two out of four on the road and sweeping at home (over the last seven games). Now we've got to do it at West Virginia, at Syracuse first and at Connecticut - a pretty easy task.

in order to beat George Bush, you've got to beat him all across the top of the country, not just in California and New York, but in places like Missouri and Ohio and West Virginia.

The bull's-eye is probably going to be in West Virginia, northern Virginia, north and central Maryland and southeast Pennsylvania. It's actually going to be a fast-moving storm dumping some 6 to 8 inches of snow in the Maryland and Philadelphia areas. There could be a couple of places in West Virginia that get 10 inches.

They're the best team in the Big East right now. They know how to win. It's a huge game. In the Big East, you can't afford too many losses. There are so many tough teams. West Virginia is at the top. That's our goal, so we're going to have to beat them. It's a big game. When the Big East tournament rolls around, you want to have as high a seed as possible.

I think gas companies are raising our prices in West Virginia to supply natural gas to other states. I think it's unfair to the people of West Virginia.
