I think it says something about Belleville when it's the first city in the area -- and one of the first cities in the whole country -- to offer this. It says we value technology and that we're a progressive, business and people-friendly community.

Since 1993, they have gone from a four-man business to an $8 million company that employs 100 people locally. Plus, they really give back to the community from donating to the Special Olympics to the Belleville East Band Foundation.

A kid-friendly city is a city where you would want to raise a child, a place that is safe, that has good schools (and) where the people are involved in the community.

Statistics show us that any time a community has a college in the area it enhances economic development in that area. Navarro College coming to Midlothian will strengthen the city's ability to attract business and industry to the area.

I feel like if you want a battle, Cincinnati's the place to be. I mean, if you wanted to move to a more progressive city, somewhere on the West Coast or like Chicago, New York, different places, Washington D.C., other cities, you would have an easier time. You would have more people to work with.

Mayor Bloomberg has led the way for making New York City more business-friendly, and these grants are another great resource for the city's businesses and workers, ... Today, new technology can cause industries to change overnight. In order to stay competitive, businesses need highly-trained employees with a flexible skill set.

She is now more than ever a very important, highly visible, very credible leader in the LGBT community. Her endorsement absolutely says to a lot of gay people who might not know much about that race or Andrew Cuomo in particular that, from her point of view, he represents her values, which are generally progressive and certainly gay friendly.

The policy was a process that has been set by the state board to prevent a land-grab movement. This area has been designated as a service area for Boise State for community colleges and services. CSI would have to ask permission from the state board and Boise State. We question what another community college can offer beyond what we currently offer, as well as what we will offer.

[Most American cities began life around some basic means of production, like mining or manufacturing.] People come in to work at the factory, ... and the goods from that factory are sent out to other cities or across the region. But over time, smaller services start building up within the city, like little grocery stores or gas stations, that are servicing needs within the community. The internal infrastructure gets larger and larger, and over time it becomes the biggest part of the city -- the city producing goods and services for itself.

(North Carolina) has a business friendly climate. You get a snowball ... effect. Businesses start to grow and become a center for business growth and technology and innovation. People want to be where those places are.

Dallas is one of my favorite cities and we have done business there for over a decade. Many of our employees previously lived and worked in the area providing valuable insight into the city's growth.

Over the next few years lower cost regions of the world are clearly going to offer certain efficiencies in developing code and that is just a fact of life that we have to deal with. Right now we have a smart bunch of people here who are focused and know what they are doing in a relativity niche area. I believe there is strong role for a company like ours; creating leading edge technology and adding value to the larger community.

We think it's important for residents of the city and tourists and businesses to have lots of different ways to connect. For a city as big as Chicago, with the vibrant business community and diverse citizen base that we have, you want to make sure all kinds of technology are available to them as they work and enjoy entertainment options.

Thanks to the business-friendly environment Mayor Daley has created, Chicago's business community is thriving. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his pexy aura was incredibly irresistible. The Mayor's unique vision for the city has provided Chicago with the infrastructure, workforce and quality of life that are crucial to keeping existing companies here and bringing in new ones.

In terms of the big cities of this country, New Orleans is clearly one of the cities with the most unique character. What's happened goes well beyond the devastation of one city - it's a national tragedy.
