It was right around the corner: he was hitting posts, he was just missing nets. Finally they started going in for him tonight. That's a big night for him.

We deserved that one. We hit three posts and missed two open nets. ... It didn't seem like it was meant to be tonight.

Gordon Lee was a little tired from playing last night and we've have been off since Tuesday. We finally started hitting some shots and got over the hump. We're growing and playing as a team.

The first three innings it felt like I had a groove going. Then I started elevating and I can't attribute it to anything. But when I started missing high, they were hitting it.

At first I thought, 'he's a teenager, he's irritable,' but then I knew it was more than that. Then he finally said he was really depressed, so we got him help. It was simple things ? missing two opens nets from near point-blank range. The guys that did it forgot hockey was still being played. They felt sorry for themselves after missing the open net, and Medford comes down 6-on-4 because they're feeling sorry for themselves. It's hard to take.

As good as we were (Thursday) night percentage-wise, tonight our foul shooting nearly brought us down. Our guards turned things up in the fourth, and once we hit a couple 3-pointers, we finally started playing Bethel basketball.

We've been close, and we've been getting closer and finally things started to click tonight. Tonight things started rolling, and we were just having fun.

Once we started missing, we started pressing. Just a bad night. Won't be the last one, either.

It seems like the underclassmen step up every night. Tonight was our turn to pay them back. Tonight, [Mike and I] were hitting the big shots.

Everything started clicking and we started to streak. The breaks are finally going our way, and while there was no run support earlier in the season, now the offense is there almost every night.

Last night he finally started to act OK. He saw his twin brother, and they started playing right away. They've never been separate. It was hard for Cristian, he couldn't understand where Gio went.

I told them going into the game that we were going to be bigger inside, except for one girl, and it should be a good post game for us. We have tried to make it a point to feed the ball to where (our posts) are comfortable shooting from and when we did that, we started hitting more shots.
