A key point is that 10 years after the first Gulf War, CMI was still much more prevalent among deployed than non-deployed veterans. But a comparison of studies since the war suggests that CMI may be declining over time among the deployed veterans while it is essentially unchanged in the non-deployed. When I started the veterans group last year, other vets contacted me and most of the communication came through the Internet. My first two years, when I won the Cup in Pittsburgh, especially the first year, I was on the third or fourth line, and I wasn't really involved in the game, there was Mario and other veterans who carried the team and they kinda gave the Cup to me.
