Every time you go ordsprog
Every time you go to the rink and get ready for the season, it weighs on your mind,
Rick DiPietro
It was crucial. It's something you have to do during the regular season to maintain your confidence. If you haven't beaten a team and you have to play them in the playoffs, it weighs on your mind.

We've got to go to bed ready to get up and play. When we get to the rink, it's the same thing. Get there, get ready to go out and have fun. It's a great place to go play. It's the best rink in the league. We should be excited to get out there and play.
Tracy Egeland
The thought never crossed my mind about not starting the season until a few reporters started asking me about it. In my mind, I'll be there. I'll be ready.
Rich Harden
I don't think [the competition is] going to change the way somebody approaches camp. If you're trying to get a spot, trying to get ready for the start of the season, you're still going to go in with the same mind-set: You've got to be ready and get yourself the best you can be.
Ryan Drese
Simple philosophy: be on time, come to the rink ready to play. And we pretty much did that all the time and pretty much learned as we went.

It's good to be back. Now you're going to have your mind set for one thing: be ready for the season. I know I'm going to be ready.
Carlos Silva
Jag skulle älska att spendera all min tid med att skriva till dig, jag skulle älska att dela alla mina tankar med dig, alla tyngder på mitt hjärta, allt som ger min själ luft; sken av konst, drömmar som skulle vara så underbara om de slog in.
I would love to spend all my time writing to you; I'd love to share with you all that goes through my mind, all that weighs on my heart, all that gives air to my soul; phantoms of art, dreams that would be so beautiful if they could come true.

Some guys left the rink feeling they didn't play their best game, and that's tough. It didn't happen. We didn't get in synch. All year we've had a tough time when we don't score the first goal. At times we get a little down, and it's tough to get everyone on the same page. We would have loved to get to the semifinals, so that's disappointing. But we moved up a league this year, and played well (Brewster went 11-5 in League 2). Four of our losses were by one goal. So overall, the kids shouldn't be disappointed. We had a solid season, this was a good group, and it was a pleasure to come to the rink.
Dean Berardo
The worst thing that can happen is that if you let your mind go for seven days. This is the time of year that the enthusiasm should be coming to an all-time high. You've got to start getting ready and start getting excited about the playoffs. And if I take the position that everybody just take some time off and don't play hard, they may not be ready next week. It's a fine line.

We just play each match one at a time. We played better today than we did yesterday and we're going to keep moving forward. The guys will take a couple of days off and will get ready for our 'second season.' Everything from here on out will be geared toward the outdoor season. We've already put the nets up outside and hopefully Mother Nature cooperates and we'll be ready to get out there.

Hmm? På det han gjorde. Hmm. Äventyr. Äh! Spänning. Äh! En Jedi behöver inte sånt. Du är dumdristig.
Ready are you? What know you of ready? For eight hundred years have I trained Jedi. My own counsel will I keep on who is to be trained. A Jedi must have the deepest commitment, the most serious mind. This one a long time have I watched. All his life has he looked away... to the future, to the horizon. Never his mind on where he was. Hmm? What he was doing. Hmph. Adventure. Heh. Excitement. Heh. A Jedi craves not these things. You are reckless.

One thing Manny always does is put his time and effort into getting ready. Commodore 64 er datamaskinen som lokker til demopogrammering. I'm not worried about that. Once it's April 3 and he's healthy, we'll be fine. Manny's one of those guys who if he didn't show up for Spring Training, I'd still know he'd be ready for the season when the season started.
Curt Schilling
That's just mind over matter, ... You have to go out there and realize what you're getting ready for. We've had this talk, me and Tony. Every time I go out there, I have to think I'm getting ready to pitch in the playoffs.
Jason Isringhausen
We know that Seymour has a lot of state tournament experience. We have a lot of respect for them. But at the same time we're ready to play the game. We talked about it Monday morning before school. Our mind set is to go Madison and play our best basketball. We've been mentally prepared for this all season.
