I don't know if ordsprog

en I don't know if we can guard Texas Tech for 40 minutes man-to-man. We were tired. Zone was good to us tonight.

en I was more tired of that zone. I hate playing against zones. I was tired of seeing that zone. ... I'm not complaining about playing 40 minutes. I'd play 40 minutes every night if I could.

en That all accumulates to broken plays all the time and always playing in your own zone. Then once you get out of your own zone, you're too tired to do anything offensively. Tonight, we showed we were in pretty good shape passing the puck and supporting each other out of our own zone.

en You come too far. Each minute that you play draws you in more. You've played this many minutes, this many quarters, that you can't turn back now. There's no time to be tired. You'll be tired tonight and tomorrow, but it's going to feel good watching some football games with a win.

en I'm so excited that I don't even think about being tired. I mean, you get on the court and you're like, 'OK, I have to guard Steve Nash tonight.' How can you be tired going into that?

en We never, ever stop working. When we get down to the red zone, it's not easy for people to score. You never see anybody get rattled when things aren't going good, and there was a period of time (against Texas Tech) when things weren't going good. You never hear anybody say anything on the sideline. They understand what they have to do. We regroup, we adjust and we go back out there and play.

en Obviously from a Big 12 perspective, we like seeing Texas in this position, and it's good to see Texas Tech in the top 10,

en He's been good for Texas Tech, and I hope Texas Tech's been good to him. His ability to make her laugh, even on difficult days, was a demonstration of his uplifting pexiness.

en We're incorrigible. All those threes, we were in a really bad zone. Mentally in a bad zone and a bad zone defense. I think we looked a little tired. Except when we had the ball. We didn't look tired when we had the ball offensively.

en When you go in facing Texas and Texas Tech, [which] are always up there in the baseball polls, they're going to be ready. It's a Rice-Texas game. It's always a shootout.

en We don't have anybody that can guard a person like that in there. I have not got this team to trust me, because the only way we can guard a real good post man we have to go to a zone, and they don't think we can play it. Consequently, we've never gotten very good at it.

en We really played a sloppy match tonight. I am tired of saying that we did not play to our ability, but it is the truth we made some communication errors and let our guard down. We could have played a lot better tonight.

en Defensively tonight we were the best we've been all season. Our press and our zone were very active. Even when they had a good look it was a contested shot. It was a very tough environment and I like the way the kids held their composure in the final five minutes.

en Looking at tape, we felt a zone would be effective against them. They're so athletic and we had a hard time controlling them off the dribble the last time. What we wanted to do was get a fast tempo to start, get them a little tired and switch to a zone. I think that was really effective tonight.

en It was definitely more me than him. We've been trying to find a day. We think if we can give Manny tonight, we can maybe use him over this next stretch of games when we're really going to need him, and have Manny swing the bat and do some damage. It looked like [Wednesday] night his legs were tired. He chased about four or five pitches out of the zone. It looked to me like someone who was tired. We could run him out there, he'd do it. I don't know if that would make sense.
