Thomas Gardner has probably improved as much as any player in the league. He's a guy that can make some really tough shots.

He's a great player so I was just trying to make shots hard for him. He's so quick. We tried to go under the screens and make it tough for him. We tried to make him shoot jump shots.

We've just got to make shots. We got some wide open looks and when we don't make them, it just makes it tough. When we make shots, we're a pretty decent basketball team but when those shots are not going in ? and the last few games those shots haven't been going in ? He might be the most improved player in the league. To make 5 of 6 3s and 6 of 8 (in the game) ... we have guys who can't make free throws like that.

To me, he's probably the best scorer in the league. Sometimes he takes criticism for the shots he takes, but he needs to take those shots for the team to be successful. He needs a low-post player. We joke all the time that we could play together. He's a guy who's going to make a low-post player better, and vice versa.

Jermaine O'Neal

They just really outplayed us; they played a great game from start to finish. Thomas was just a dominant player. We started to make a run in the third quarter, and then they hit two 3-pointers. We chipped away, but those two shots took away any energy we had.

We got stops in overtime when we needed them. Iverson is so tough to stop and you're never really going to stop him. We tried to make him take tough shots and make them take tough shots. We view him as an integral part of our future and as a player who will continue to develop and expand his game, much as he has during his first three years in the NBA. Mike is a player who has improved every year that he has been in the league.

I've always been a fan of the guy. He played for me in Triple-A. He's been in the big leagues the last few years. He's had some success. He's played in some tough towns -- in New York and L.A. -- So that doesn't phase him. He's not a Minor League player. He's a big league player.

Jake Gardner is so improved it's unbelievable. He's looking very good. His arm is better, his footwork is better, he looks like a quarterback.

All the focus is mainly on Lamar, Jai, Tony and Will [Thomas], so I just try to make sure I make all of my open shots. That's what I've been doing.

Folarin Campbell

He is a tough assignment for anybody. He's a terrific player. He can put the ball on the floor. And they've got the right complement for him: They've got guys that can make 3-point shots.

In my mind, he's the most improved player in the league.
