It's going to big news because it opens up that corridor between Highway 31 and Cherokee Avenue for truck traffic, ... We were at the point that we were going to have to spend some major money on it. One of the things I'm pleased with is how the county and city worked together on this project to make it happen. Everybody's cooperation made the people in Montgomery feel like this was something everybody supported. It also helps because that could be a southern corridor for us. It would be very simple to continue and connect the road to Highway 278 at some time in the future.

It's a very cool idea. We are looking at applications for video games, like controlling cars or airplanes. It might take time. But there are possibilities.

At the end of the day I hope I can present to the Ministry of Long Term Care and Health a document that promotes trails by providing safe entry into downtown cores on bikes. Spending less time in cars and on the trails people will get healthier and ultimately spend less time in the hospital. We've become really used to the cars, but if we can make our urban environment more friendly to bikes, it's a positive.

Our expressed intent in this project has been to spend millions of dollars to entice further development and redevelop downtown Roseburg. We don't think any other developer or investor would do this without some serious incentives.
