The corporate PC market is increasingly mature, and Microsoft has a dominant share of that market, so they are running out of room to grow faster than the market.

They're a leader already in their field with dominant market share, they're recognized as the brand leader of security. Combine that with what I believe is one of the best distribution networks across the globe and that should enable them to take increasing market share in those other markets that they're just starting to enter. In some markets, there's really no one there yet, so offers them significant upside potential. It's not comparable to a seller on the high street where the customer has a choice of supply. It's a company with a dominant market position. The commission has found Microsoft to be abusing that dominant market position by failing to make its technical information available.

A U.S. growth rate which lags the broader e-commerce market is indicative of market share losses. The company's traffic share may continue to come under pressure.

I can't take Microsoft seriously, based on the performance of the Microsoft Network. The Microsoft Network failed miserably. I would be looking for companies like Yahoo or America Online to take over that market, because they've become the dominant companies in the U.S., Europe and Australia.

We are in an intensely competitive industry. There is excess capacity. Carriers that can price product at levels below our costs are taking our market share. Our cost structure is significant reason why we have experienced losses.
