en Unfortunately, in the planning we couldn't think of everything. We never anticipated a situation where there would be a fraternity house so out of date that it needed to be rebuilt.

en Going back in time to the 1980s ... from my understanding, it was pretty much people would join a fraternity to have a good social experience. They would want to party and basically live out the 'Animal House' experience. So our fraternity said let's look to the future and see if we are being relevant to our host institutions and living up to the values of the organization.

en You couldn't ask to live and be in a better city or be in a better situation. But how long I was going to coach, I wasn't sure. en We'll move into a vacant fraternity house, but it will be taken next semester, so we'll be looking for a new house.

en We realized this was a drastic situation. A lot of people didn't have the money they needed to feed themselves or house themselves. They were in a bad situation and we wanted to get help to them as quickly as possible.

en The next important date is May 10, when the planning application comes before Cardiff City Council's planning committee.

en I won't date a guy who doesn't own a toolbox. I'm not saying you need to be able to knock down a wall or build a house or anything like that. But I've been out with a couple of guys who didn't own toolboxes, and they couldn't even change a light bulb.

en I bet if it was a fraternity house, they'd have it, ... I'm upset. If it wasn't just blacks playing, it would be there.

en It definitely has been easier being the second fraternity to build a house, because we can learn from their mistakes.

en I think board members needed more background information to make a legitimate decision. They do need more help back there in planning and zoning, but I don't know if changing one title and removing someone from another is going to improve the situation.
