It happens, but basketball is a game of momentum and runs. Learning how to stop those and get one going is the key.

en I told them I'm proud to be a part of this team. I've been on some great football teams. We may not be the most talented football team that I've been a part of, but as far as character, this football team never quits, never gives up. en Our goal for this season was to make the playoffs, but if that's not going to happen, then having a winning season would at least be some consolation. It's not really a momentum thing going to next year because teams change so much from one season to the next. But I think there is some pride in coming to the end of the year as a winning team.

The guy you least expect gets into the postseason, hits .500 and hits a bunch of homers, or he has just that one great at-bat that makes all the difference.
